Sam Genovese
A graduate of the University of Maryland and a proud Terrapin alumnus, Sam had never taken a journalism class prior to his work with Sherdog.com, but was thrown into the fire to cover an M-1 Global event in March of 2011 and has been a contributor to the site ever since. A native of the Washington D.C.-area, Sam grew up an avid local sports fan, especially of the Washington Capitals. Outside of work for the site, Sam enjoys pick-up hockey, playing music, and watching virtually anything on the History Channel. Oh, and he likes guns. A lot.
