Frank Trigg took it to Dennis Hallman, scoring a technical knockout 4:15 of round one to win the rematch of their contested November 2002 WFA welterweight championship bout.
The closest Hallman (51-9-2) came to catching Trigg (10-2-0) was via leg lock. But he never came close. Trigg smartly countered, and followed with strikes whenever there was space, of which there was plenty.
After a flurry of unanswered punches, referee Mario Yamasaki jumped in to prevent further punishment.
