Bellator MMA went to Fresno, California, in 2014 for Bellator 125. The main event saw Melvin Manhoef knock out Doug Marshall in the first round. It was Manhoef’s promotional debut after having spent time fighting for One Championship, KSW, Dream and Strikeforce.
The card also saw Bellator veterans Rafael Carvalho TKO Brian Rogers in his promotional debut, Javy Ayala submit Raphael Butler and Goiti Yamauchi submit Martin Stapleton in the main card opener. Carvalho would later go on to win the middleweight division.
On the prelims were the likes of Chris Honeycutt, Jesse Juarez and Ron Keslar, among others. The only non-aired bout was Nate James’ final MMA fight, in which he beat Anthony Ruiz by split decision.
