King Mo: 'Dreamcatcher is About to Catch a Nightmare'

Muhammed Lawal expects to be tabbed as the next opponent for Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi, perhaps as soon as April, and he spoke about the possibility with Sherdog’s Greg Savage while in Florida to take in Strikeforce “Miami.”

Never one to hold his tongue, “King Mo” said he was confident and eager to get a crack at Mousasi’s strap. The decorated wrestler and unbeaten mixed martial artist has strung together six consecutive wins since embarking on his new career as a fighter, the last one being a highlight reel knockout of Mike Whitehead in a heavyweight bout. He will look to make it seven against the champ, should this bout finally be made official.
