Fitch: Heart Will Be Key Factor in Alves Rematch

It’s been just over four years since Jon Fitch stopped a young Thiago Alves and ironically, neither fighter has tasted defeat since, save decision losses to welterweight boss Georges St. Pierre.
Fitch was down early in that bout and rebounded to stop “The Pitbull” by TKO late in the second round of their scheduled three rounder. He knows Alves will be a different animal this time around and hopes his opponent understands the same will ring true in regards to him.
