Alesha Zappitella won for the fourth time in five promotional appearances in the Invicta FC 41 co-headliner, as she relied on takedowns, top position and ground-and-pound to edge Lindsey VanZandt via split decision on July 2 in Kansas City. “Half Pint” could be on the verge of an atomweight title shot in the all-female organization. Thanks to her latest triumph, Zappitella maintains her No. 9 ranking at 105 pounds in our latest divisional poll.
