(PRESS RELEASE) -- Newly crowned lightweight champion, Jaleel Willis, will step into the cage against top contender, Eli McGlothlin, in a three round title fight on September 28 when V3Fights returns to Minglewood Hall in Memphis, TN.
In the co-main event, the heavyweight title will be unified when heavyweight champion, Jason Ostrowski, takes on interim champion, Jeremiah Trundle. Both fighters are a mirror image of each other with both being former wrestlers that display knockout power in both hands. Newly crowned featherweight champion, Jesse Sanderson, will put his title on the line against Matt Robinson. Both of these fighters shocked the V3Legion back in June. Sanderson was a huge underdog and made a come from behind victory to win the title in the biggest upset in V3 history. Robinson shocked the crowd by submitting former two time champion and fan favorite, Tripp “KANO” Carter, in the first round. Women’s Bantamweight Champion, Jamie “Lilcannon” Milanowski will also be defending her title on this card against Lynzee Johnson. Tickets go on sale on August 1, 2013.
This event will also be available on pay per view at www.gfl.tv
