UFC FIGHT PASS COUNTS DOWN TO SILVA vs BISPING ALL MONTH IN FEBRUARY

(PRESS RELEASE) – Las Vegas, Nevada – The biggest month in the two-year history of UFC FIGHT PASS®, UFC’s over-the-top digital streaming service, has arrived.

On Saturday, February 27, former UFC middleweight champion and pound-for-pound great Anderson Silva will return to the Octagon to face elite contender Michael Bisping. The clash between two of the most established fighters in the 185-lbs division can only be seen exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS.

UFC Senior Vice President and UFC FIGHT PASS General Manager Eric Winter said: “Anderson Silva vs Michael Bisping is a can’t-miss match-up with huge implications for the entire division. Winter announced a raft of exciting shoulder programming which will count down the weeks and days until Silva and Bisping square off in the center of the sold-out O2 Arena.

Winter added: “Silva vs Bisping is a huge fight, not just for FIGHT PASS but also on its own terms, and FIGHT PASS will present the definitive coverage of the build-up to the February 27 showdown. Coming later this month, the inaugural episode of the new UFC Battle Lines will focus on Silva and Bisping’s preparation going into the fight. Plus camera crews are already shadowing the London card fighters for a series of the critically acclaimed UFC Embedded.”

Michael Bisping’s Greatest Feuds (premieres Feb 22)

Bisping has been known to talk a little trash from time to time and here “The Count” recalls all the incidents and insults of his most bitter feuds in the UFC.

Before Michael Bisping, heavyweight Ian Freeman was the face of British MMA. The first Brit to compete in the UFC, “The Machine” scored the upset of 2002 when he blasted Frank Mir to defeat in the UFC’s inaugural event in the UK. For the first time, Freeman speaks openly about the family tragedy that struck just hours before the greatest fight of his career.

The Best of Cage Rage, Volume 1 – With Michael Bisping (premieres Feb 12)

Cage Rage was a British based MMA organization that enjoyed major successes during its 2002 – 2008 years of operation. A host of major names, and future UFC stars, completed in Cage Rage. In the first of a regular series, Bisping introduces eight of the biggest fights in the Cage Rage archive - including his own epic battles over the Cage Rage light heavyweight title and Silva’s first run as a middleweight champion.
