(PRESS RELEASE) -- On March 8 at Minglewood Hall in Memphis, TN, Paul Rainey returns to the V3 cage. However, things will be a little different this time around. Rainey has found a new gym, new weight class, and he will be fighting in the main event for the middleweight title. The last time Rainey fought in front of the ‘Legion,’ it was at light heavyweight where he won in dominant fashion via TKO in the second round.
“I am excited for this fight. I am dropping from light heavyweight to middleweight and feel this is a much better weight class for me. I was a little undersized at light heavyweight, and feel faster and more agile, but I think I have kept my power and strength. I don’t know much about my opponent, but he looks to have good top control and is strong. I have been fortunate enough to be able to work with some really good guys like Jason Wood, Ryan Collins, Wayne Kendall, and Zach Tarr. Each possesses a different style and it has helped me evolve my game. I am looking forward to representing Game Changer in the main event and giving the V3 fans a good show.”
Rainey was one of the most dominating and intimidating light heavyweights around and it’s going to be scary to see what he can do at middleweight. You don’t want to miss this one, so get your tickets now!!!
