ONE Fighting Championshipâ„¢ unveils CHAMPION versus CHAMPION

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Singapore: ONE Fighting Championshipâ„¢, Asia's largest mixed martial arts organization in history, has unveiled its official fight card for ONE Fighting Championship 1 on September 3, 2011 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

With a media broadcast to over 500 million viewers, this event will feature 17 champions and some of Asia’s best martial artists in a historic event billed as CHAMPION versus CHAMPION: Asia’s Greatest Battle of Champions. ESPN StarSports and MediaCorp will broadcast the event across Asia. Additionally, other Asian media broadcast partners are expected for the event.

ONE Fighting Championshipâ„¢ currently remains in confidential discussions with many of the top Asian fighters in Asia and is expected to make additional major announcements soon. It is the goal of ONE Fighting Championship to work with all the top Asian MMA event organizations, managers, and fighters in growing the sport of mixed martial arts together in Asia.

With MMA Legend Bas Rutten as anchor commentator, ONE Fighting Championshipâ„¢ will feature a combination rule set of modified Pride Fighting Championship and Unified MMA rules. More details will be announced. Weight classes will be:
