FROM BACK YARD BRAWLING TO THE V3 CAGE, ROBINSON IS READY FOR THE BIGGEST FIGHT OF HIS CAREER

Jun 17, 2013

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Premier Martial Art’s fighter, Matt Robinson (6-1), will step into the V3 cage on June 15 to face fan favorite and former two time/two division champion, Tripp Carter. This is by far the biggest fight of Robinson’s career and it seems he has everything to gain and nothing to lose in this fight.

Like every kid, Robinson grew up playing several sports and succeeded at everything he did. Then in high school, he and a few buddies went to Walmart and bought some UFC MMA gloves and started backyard brawling on a regular basis. It turned out that Robinson took a liking to fighting and joined Premier Martial Arts and the rest is history. He now teaches classes at Premier, runs the MMA team, and was recently awarded his jiu-jitsu blue belt by Royce Gracie.

Robinson knows that he has a huge advantage on the ground against Carter, but what people do not realize is that his striking is just as good as his ground game, if not better. Robinson feels comfortable no matter where the fight goes. When asked about his upcoming fight with Carter, here is all Robinson had to say, “The only talking I’m going to do is a post fight interview in the cage with Rick McCracken after I beat Tripp.”

Fight fans, you do not want to miss this up and coming fighter on Saturday night!!!!!!!!
