(Irvine, CA) “Donnybrook” Cody Donovan has signed with Paradigm MMA Management for full service representation. The professional mixed martial artist and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Nathan Marquardt, has amassed a record of 8-3 as a professional, including 1-1 in the UFC. Cody’s UFC debut came vs Nick Penner on just nine days notice when he replaced Eddie Mendez who had to withdraw with an injury. Cody made a splash that night, winning by Knockout with Fight of the Night bonus. Cody has his toughest test to date at UFC 167 where he takes on Robert Drysdale in Las Vegas on November 16, 2013.
Cody lives and trains out of Denver, Colorado at Easton Training Center with Elevation Fight Team. He is the Light-Heavyweight Champion of Full Force Fighting and Fight To Win, both based out of Denver. Cody stated the following about the signing with the firm, “I'm very excited to be working with Paradigm MMA. They came highly recommended by my mental conditioning coach Brian Cain, and have a reputation of excellence in the sport. I'm confident that they will fight as hard out of the ring as I will in the in it. This was an obvious choice for the next stage of my career.”
