(PRESS RELEASE) -- Since 2006, Frank Caraballo has been collecting wins and on June 7th the 29 year-old will enter the cage for the 31st time. He is set for what promises to be another war on the first Saturday in June at Fight Nite in the Flats 10.
Frank will find himself standing across the cage from 3x UFC veteran Tom Hayden in the evening’s main event in what will be a 3 round fight at a catch weight of 150 pounds. Hayden may not have near the experience that Caraballo has but he’s been in the game just as long. In fact, Thomas Hayden made his MMA debut a little more than 1 year before Caraballo. Hayden went on to finish with a 6-1 record as an amateur before turning professional in 2008. Since turning pro in 2008, he has picked up 6 wins, 4 of which have come via submission.
Despite Hayden’s success, he will likely have his hands full fighting in a cage that will be surrounded by Caraballo’s fans who are very well known for showing up in large numbers and who make themselves heard. Frank has found great success fighting in Ohio, especially at Jacob’s Pavilion where he has won 7 out of 8 fights. Frank, who is a 3x Bellator veteran, is especially hungry right now after losing in March in a controversial decision to Ricky Musgrave. He’s eager to pick up a win and get back to championship form.
