(PRESS RELEASE) -- ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (Mar. 6, 2015) - M-1 Global has announced a rematch between M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger and challenger Tural Ragimov in the M-1 Challenge 56 co-feature Friday, April 10 in Moscow, Russia.
Last October 17 at M-1 Challenge 52: Battle of Narts, Buchinger (28-4-0, 7 KO/TKO, 16 SUB) captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title, stopping Ragimov (9-2-0, 4 KO/TKO, 4 SUB) on punches in the fourth round of the event's Fight of the Night.
Fighting out of his native Slovakia, Buchinger hasn't lost a fight in nearly 3 ½ years, winning seven in a row and 10 of his last 11. The 29-year-old, who represents Team MMA Spirit, is undefeated in three M-1 Challenge events.
