Matchups added to the card include a lightweight clash between Yusuke Yachi (25-13) and Kyung Pyo Kim (13-4). Yachi, a veteran of the promotion, is currently on a two-fight winning streak having secured a decision win against Boyd Allen at Rizin 39 in October 2022 followed by a Round 1 submission victory against Zach Zane at Rizin 43 in June 2023.
Meanwhile, Pyo Kim is also currently on a two-fight winning streak in the promotion with both wins coming in the first frame of the respective bouts. The South Korean first secured a Round 1 submission in his promotional debut against Sho Patrick Usami at Rizin 41 followed by a technical knockout victory against Tural Ragimov at Rizin Landmark Vol. 7 in November last year.
The next addition is a featherweight meeting between Takahiro Ashida (24-13) and Hiroaki Suzuki (3-3). Ashida will enter his clash against Suzuki on the back of a Round 1 technical loss against Kazumasa Majima at Rizin 42.
On the other hand, Suzuki is fresh off a first-round knockout victory against Taisei Nishitani at Rizin 43 in June 2023.
The other fights on the card include a welterweight meeting between Daichi Abe (12-7) and Kota Shirakawa (4-4); a women's catchweight bout between France's Claire Lopez ( 8-5) and Japanese MMA veteran Ayaka Hamasaki (24-6); a flyweight clash between Yuki Ito (15-5) and Pancrase veteran Masatoshi Ueda (20-9); a featherweight bout pitting Azerbaijan's Tural Ragimov (21-10) against promotional newcomer Hiroshige Tanaka (13-9) and a bantamweight clash featuring Kenta Takizawa (13-10) taking on submission specialist Shohei Nose (10-4).
