Perce was determined to take Haskins down, spending most of the first round in the clinch with a body lock. Pierce suplexed Haskins but Haskins popped right up and scored with kicks to the leg and body. 10-9 Haskins.
Round 2
Haskins spent more time in the second frame staving off Pierce’s takedown attempts. Haskins sunk a standing guillotine but Pierce escaped and the two traded foot stomps in a slow round. 10-9 Haskins.
Round 3
Once again Pierce clinched with Haskins against the fence, but this time, Pierce threw a left hook that crumpled Haskins. Pierce threw a few more punches and Haskins was finished. The official time was 3:39 of the technical knockout.
Mike Budnik vs. John Franchi
Round 1
Franchi started strong, knocking Budnik down with his first punch. Budnik recovers and sweeps his way out the back door. Budnik drops for an ankle and Franchi grabs a leg as well as they trade foot submissions. Budnik released and dropped some heavy punches down from the top position. The fighters stood to close the period. 10-9 Franchi.
Round 2
Budnik landed a great upkick to start round two after a quick takedown. Franchi got to side-control and peppered Budnik with knees and elbows to the body. Franchi continues to smother his opponent until Budnik swept out and loaded up on a huge leg kick as they stood. Franchi connected with a hard kick to the body before the horn sounded. 10-9 Budnik. 10-9 Franchi.
Round 3
Franchi swarmed with punches and Budnik ended up on his back in a scramble. Franchi takes side-control. The fighters stood and Budnik failed on a pull-guard attempt. Budnik lands an upkick and mounts a late attack on Franchi’s legs but it’s too little, too late. Franchi takes the split decision with scores of 29-28 (twice) and 28-29 for Budnik.
Alex Karalexis vs. Greg McIntyre
Round 1
The fight starts off slow with a clinch against the fencing. Karalexis threw McIntyre but got sucked into a double-leg takedown. Karalexis kicked his opponent off and the fighters stood. A kick from McIntyre is caught and Karalexis sweeps him down by kicking his other leg out from under him. The fighters scramble and Karalexis uses a double leg to slam McIntyre to the floor. Against the cage, Karalexis pounds away with punches until the referee shows mercy. The official time is 4:19 of the first.
Kenji Osawa vs. Rafael Rebello
Round 1
The first stanza is fairly even as Rebello came out swinging with wild punches. Osawa caught Rebello with a little flurry during a scramble off the fence. Osawa kept his hands low throughout the round and gave as he got. Rebello grazed a "Superman" punch just before the bell. 10-9 Rebello.
Round 2
Rebello rushed in with a trio of solid left hooks that backed Osawa up to the cage. The next few minutes were uneventful as the two leaned against the fence amidst a chorus of boos. Osawa used push kicks and the threat of his front leg to keep Rebello from getting inside. Osawa takes the round, 10-9.
Round 3
More fence clinching and resting in the final round. Rebello landed knees to the thigh of the Japanese fighter. Osawa continued to use his push kick once the fighters moved to the center of the cage. Osawa mixed in the occasional jab, which frustrated Rebello. Clearly ticked, Rebello started winging wild overhand rights that missed their mark. Rebello connected with a punching flurry in the bout’s final moments. Osawa wins a head scratcher taking two of the cards with scores of 29-28. Rebello received a score of 30-27 on the third judges’ card.
Johny Hendricks vs. Alex Serdyukov
Round 1
Hendricks used superior wrestling in the first round to keep Serdyukov from mounting any offense. Hendricks used strong wrist control and tagged his opponent with sharp standing elbows to the ear. Serdyukov went to the Thai plum and landed knees to the head and body. Hendricks, 10-9.
Round 2
Hendricks looked gassed to start the second frame and a hard knee to the body from Serdyukov folds him. Hendricks grabbed a leg and absorbed hard punches to the midsection. Finding his second wind, Hendricks lands an uppercut and a left cross that drops Serdyukov to the floor via delayed reaction. Hendricks pounces and Serdyukov takes a beating before gathering his senses. Serdyukov landed two clean punches before the round ended. 10-9 Hendricks.
Round 3
Hendricks was poked accidentally in the eye early in round three and struggled with Serdyukov’s reach. Serdyukov landed at will for a few minutes, but Hendricks hung tough and slipped in a fair share of his own hands. Hendricks shoots a single and holds on for dear life as Serdyukov drops elbows on his body and kidneys. Serdyukov easily takes the round but Hendricks did enough in the first two periods to take the unanimous decision, 29-28 on all three cards.
Marcos Galvao vs. Damacio Page
Round 1
Demacio Page ended Galvao’s night early in scary fashion. Page rushed forward with a right hand and then followed it with three more. The final of which knocked Galvao out on his feet as he fell to the ground. Page made sure he was out with one more and mercifully walked away when Galvao stiffened up. Galvao did not respond to medical personal until he was being carried away on a stretcher. Relief was felt in the arena after a few tense moments. The official time was 0:18 of the first.
Danny Castillo vs. Phil Cardella
Round 1
A wild first round unfolds between Cardella and Castillo. The fighters went back and fourth, with each fighter tossing the other around until Cardella went to his back in search of a triangle. Castillo stayed out of trouble and pushed the pace. Cardella landed a few knees from the clinch after standing and Castillo landed two right hands. 10-9 for Castillo.
Round 2
Castillo found himself on top early in the second and Cardella made him stay with heel strikes to the back. The referee stood the fighters up and Cardella rushed into another barrage of right hand bombs. Castillo put Cardella on his back but got nailed with an upkick and a triangle as the round ended. 10-9 Cardella.
Round 3
The third frame is a repeat of the first two, with Castillo landing punches during the exchanges but the majority of the round is spent taking punishment from within Cardella’s guard. Cardella landed a dozen sharp elbows or more and sinks a deep triangle choke as time expires. Castillo survives and takes a generous split decision with scores of 30-27 and 29-28. A lone judge saw the bout for Cardella, 29-28.
Rob McCullough vs. Marcus Hicks
Round 1
The first round is a feelout period that is not appreciated by those in attendance as the boos come early and often. The stalemate ends as Hicks lowers his head and charges forward with a one, two. Hicks uses his forward momentum to clinch with McCullough against the fencing. McCullough reverses roles and knees the thigh until referee Mark Calo-Oy separates the fighters. Hicks unloads with a left hook lead that elicits a smile from McCullough. And another that connects just as solid. McCullough kicks the front leg and defends a Hicks single-leg takedown attempt. McCullough lands a right kick to the body with 15 seconds remaining.

The fighters storm to take the center of the cage and them commence to paw short punches at each other. McCullough kicks the lead leg and Hicks drops his opponent with a left hand. McCullough stands quickly and is caught in a guillotine. McCullough escapes and pounds away with punches from the top position. Hicks stands and is cracked with a kick right on the cup. Time is called and the bout is restarted after a few seconds. A wild overhand right from Hicks misses its target by at least a yard. McCullough lands a knee before clinching with Hicks against the cage. To the body goes Hicks with a knee. McCullough releases and nails his foe with a knee to the chest. A McCullough headkick shortly after is blocked. A right hand lands for McCullough and he follows with a fast flurry. Hicks takes the blows and belts McCullough with a right hand counter. Great action in the final moments of round two.

Round 3
With the fans booing after a 90 second lull, the referee asks the fighters to work. Hicks answers the call with a straight right to the body. A left hook from Hicks connects with the chin. McCullough kicks the inside of the right leg and the left side of the body. McCullough goes to work on the outside of the right leg with two low kicks. McCullough continues to work his kicks as he connects to the body. The fight ends and the arena showers the fighters with boos after a horrible round.

Aldo hits the body hard with a right knee. Mickle hangs tough and throws lots of punches. Aldo absolutely crushes Mickle with a knee to the chest. Mickle is hurt as he retreats to the fencing. Aldo grazes a right-legged headkick and unloads with punches. Referee Rafael Ramos steps in to save the dazed fighter. The official time is 1:39 of round one.
Ricardo Lamas vs. Bart Palaszewski
Round 1
Lamas gets a single-leg takedown into Palaszewski’s guard. Lamas postures up and hits the head and body with his right hand. From his back, Palaszewski passes an arm with hie legs and elbows the head while trying to secure a triangle. Lamas escapes danger and lands some good punches from the guard. Lamas stands and tries a jump pass that is easily stuffed by Palaszewski. Lamas’ mistake allows Palaszewski to stand. Lamas takes Palaszewski down but immediately is forced to fight off a kimura attempt. He frees his right arm and tees off with rights and lefts. Palaszewski stands and lands some beautiful rights to the body before the bell sounds.

Palaszewski gets sloppy with his hands and allows Lamas to clinch. Lamas works an over-under as he presses Palaszewski against the fence. Palaszewski briefly gets off the cage, but Lamas pins him right back up against the cage. Lamas drops levels for a single leg and lands a kick to the head from an unlikely position behind Palaszewski. Lamas drags his opponent to the floor and punches the head in guard. Palaszewski looks for an armbar from guard and Lamas has none of it. Lamas tees off as Palaszewski stands.
