Sherdog.com Staff Jul 6, 2010
Before UFC
116 last Saturday in Las Vegas, the Nevada State Athletic
Commission released the disclosed salaries for the main event,
which showed that Brock
Lesnar would be making 10 times more than opponent Shane
Carwin according to the figures reported to the commission.
Lesnar then added to his income by scoring a $75,000 Submission of the Night bonus for tapping Carwin in the second round with an arm-triangle choke. The UFC heavyweight champion will also get a lucrative percentage of the event’s pay-per-view revenue.
The NSAC released the payouts for the entire card Tuesday. The
numbers are disclosed pay only and do not include additional income
