St. Pierre-Hardy ‘Primetime’ Debut Nets 1 Million Viewers

“UFC Primetime: St. Pierre vs. Hardy” garnered a record-high one
million viewers (1.1 overall rating) for its first episode
Wednesday on Spike TV, according to the cable network.
The three-part series offers a behind-the-scenes look on both champion Georges St. Pierre and U.K. challenger Dan Hardy as they prepare for their five-round title bout at UFC 111 on March 27 in Newark, N.J.
“Primetime” also documented St. Pierre’s UFC 94 title defense against lightweight champion B.J. Penn over three episodes in January 2009. The debut episode drew an average audience of 880,000 viewers and an additional 614,000 viewers in its first replay. UFC 94 reportedly netted around 800,000 pay-per-view buys.
The “UFC Primetime” on St. Pierre and Hardy will air two additional installments on March 17 and March 24 at 10:00 p.m. EST/PST.
