A featherweight clash between 2011 NCAA national champion wrestler Bubba Jenkins and 28-fight veteran Joe Wilk has been added to the Bellator 139 lineup.

The promotion announced the pairing on Tuesday. Bellator 139 takes place on June 26 at Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kan., and is headlined by a heavyweight tilt pitting Alexander Volkov against Cheick Kongo. The evening’s main card will air on Spike TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET, while the preliminary card will stream immediately prior on Spike.com at 7 p.m. ET.

Jenkins had a four-bout winning streak snapped in his most recent outing at Bellator 132, when he fell victim to a Georgi Karakhanyan guillotine choke 1:49 into the opening frame. “The Highlight Kid” is 8-2 as a professional overall, with six of his triumphs coming inside the distance.

Wilk enters the matchup with Jenkins having lost four of his last five fights, including a second-round TKO defeat to Ricky Musgrave at Bellator 130 last October. The 33-year-old is 18-10 since turning pro in 2007 and owns 15 of those victories by way of submission.
