Attila Vegh and Emanuel Newton will unify the Bellator light heavyweight title on March 21, when the 205-pound standouts battle in the main event of Bellator 113.

Promotion officials announced the booking on Thursday, revealing that the event will also showcase the Season 10 lightweight tournament quarterfinals live on Spike TV from the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kan. Just prior, the evening’s undercard will stream live on Spike.com.

The lightweight tournament field will feature several familiar faces, including David Rickels and Patricky Freire, who will lock horns in the opening round. Tournament veteran Marcin Held and ex-UFC talent Terry Etim will also compete, squaring off with Rodrigo Cavalheiro Correia and Derek Anderson, respectively. Earlier in the evening, the lightweight draw will kick off with a matchup pitting Brandon Girtz against Derek Campos.

Vegh, 28, won the 2012 Summer Series tournament, outpointing Newton via split decision in the Bellator 72 final. He then bested Christian M’Pumbu to capture the light heavyweight title in February of last year before reportedly suffering a shoulder injury that knocked him out of action. The Slovakian has not lost since October 2010 and owns 21 of his 29 victories by either knockout or submission.

Newton, meanwhile, won the Season 8 draw this past spring by besting Atanas Djambazov, Muhammed Lawal and Mikhail Zayats. The 30-year-old then went on to earn the interim light heavyweight title this past November by outpointing “King Mo” in a five-round rematch at Bellator 106.
