LAS VEGAS -- The loss of the UFC 209 co-main event between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson left a void in the hearts of MMA fans across the globe. However, the 11 bouts that remained provided enough to quench their thirst, and the musical choices of the 22 fighters involved only added to the flavor.

Defending Ultimate Fighting Championship titleholder Tyron Woodley was out to prove himself the better man in his rematch with Stephen Thompson in the main event on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena. Woodley strolled to the cage to the booming sounds of Thi’sl’s “I Ain’t Turning Back” to cap a solid night of action. Thompson, meanwhile, went with Tenacious D’s “Wonderboy” in a move that has become commonplace for the South Carolinian (online betting).

Other standout tracks included N.W.A.’s “Express Yourself” (Rashad Evans), G Unit’s “Poppin Them Thangs” (Mark Hunt), Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son” (Luke Sanders), The Choirboys’ “Run to Paradise” (Daniel Kelly), House of Pain’s “Jump Around” (Cynthia Calvillo), Kanye West’s “Runaway” (Mark Godbeer), Neiked’s “Sexual” (Tyson Pedro), Halsey’s “Gasoline” (Amanda Bobby Cooper) and Big Sean’s “Bounce Back” (Albert Morales).
