Rose Namajunas in a stunning upset defeated Jedrzejczyk by first-round technical knockout on Nov. 4 at Madison Square Garden in New York, handing the Polish powerhouse her first loss. The setback does nothing to diminish Jedrzejczyk’s accomplishments, but it does remove her from an exclusive group of female fighters who remain undefeated and own at least one win in the UFC. Of the women on the promotion’s roster, only seven can claim that status; and of those seven, Team Alpha Male’s Cynthia Calvillo is in line to fight next. The 30-year-old Californian will carry a 6-0 record into her showdown with former women’s strawweight champion Carla Esparza at UFC 219 on Dec. 30.
