Hunt vs. Lesnar: UFC 200’s Best Bet

Jul 09, 2016

(SPONSORED CONTENT) -- Saturday night is the night as former UFC Heavyweight Champion/WWE Entertainer and man mountain Brock Lesnar will enter the cage to face KO Artist and all-around tough guy Mark Hunt. New Zealand Native Hunt is the current Favorite at -160 and a rock solid bet to win on Saturday all thanks to the lightning that he carries in his right fist, not to mention the less heralded but deadly effective thunder of his left. But the fight- and Brock Lesnar himself- is not without some real controversy.

A bit of UFC political background is in order.

It’s no secret that UFC Chief Dana White lobbied hard for a McGregor/Diaz rematch to headline the historic 200th but the flinty Irishman flatly refused to travel for promotion then outright rejected the payday. Right there is where WWE Superstar Lesnar came in. And so he rushed to sign a willing and able to pick up a paycheck Lesnar to test his very suspect chin against the always-ready-to-throw-down Kiwi, Hunt.

The caveat?

Due to the rapid fire deal, Lesnar gets a free pass on the 4-month pre-fight PED testing requirement (instead he faces a much less stringent 3-week window). As a result Hunt will have to play the hand he’s dealt. The confident Kiwi KO machine has so far expressed no concerns and has promised to- “…knock Lesnar’s face off…

The smart money says he will and we say the big bet is the Under (1 ½ Round finish) because this rumble absolutely will NOT go the distance. Place the smart bets now!

Hunt will absolutely be looking to finish the monster quickly while Lesnar will have to go for an instant bumrush to bring the New Zealander down to the canvas where the behemoth Lesnar has his only chance to win. Lesnar has never showed any real ability to last beyond the 1st Round while Hunt has shown every real ability to knock the F**K out of anyone his lightning bolt of a Right comes in contact with.

Neither fighter has ever demonstrated a strict conditioning regimen heading towards fight night but this only plays into Hunt’s right hand. Lesnar has no shot at all standing up against the deadly hands of Hunt and Brock must hope to freight train the always ready to rumble New Zealander if he actually even dreams of winning this ill-advised match-up before he collects his paycheck.

This is easy money and we urge everyone to take full advantage of all those loony Lesnar fans while you can.

Just don’t go to the kitchen for a fresh beer after the bell on this fight ‘cuz it might be finished by the time you get back to your seat.
