Michelle Waterson would like nothing more than to steal some of Marina Rodriguez’s momentum when the two women square off in the UFC on ESPN 24 headliner on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The showdown between two of the Top 10 strawweights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be contested at 125 pounds.

Waterson has put together a 6-4 record across 10 appearances inside the Octagon. She last competed at UFC Fight Night 177, where she put an end to a two-fight losing streak with a contentious split decision over Angela Hill on Sept. 12. Rodriguez, meanwhile, owns a 3-1-2 mark in the UFC. She last appeared in January, when she cut down Amanda Ribas with a second-round elbow strike and follow-up punches at UFC 257.

UFC on ESPN “Rodriguez vs. Waterson”—which streams live to ESPN at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT—also features a heavyweight tilt matching Maurice Greene with Marcos Rogerio de Lima, a lightweight affair pitting Diego Ferreira against Gregor Gillespie, a women’s strawweight clash slotting Amanda Ribas opposite Angela Hill and a pair of welterweight battles, as Donald Cerrone meets Alex Morono in the co-main event and Neil Magny faces Geoff Neal in a three-round showcase. ESPN+ will carry the undercard in its entirety at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT, a middleweight scrap between Phil Hawes and Kyle Daukas anchoring the truncated four-fight slate of prelims.
