Sandhagen, 30, finds himself on the rebound following back-to-back losses. The Elevation Fight Team standout last competed at UFC 267, where he lost a five-round unanimous decision to Petr Yan in a failed bid to capture the interim bantamweight championship. Sandhagen carries a 7-3 record in the UFC, his run highlighted by victories over Frankie Edgar, Raphael Assuncao and John Lineker.
Song, meanwhile, appears to have hit his stride. The Team Alpha Male export has rattled off three consecutive wins since being upset by Kyler Phillips in August 2021.
