An eight-woman tournament at Invicta “Phoenix Series 4” on Friday at the Police Athletic League in Kansas City, Kansas, will give rise the next No. 1 contender at 105 pounds. Fan voting determined the quarterfinal matchups: Paulina Granados vs. Marisa Messer-Belenchia, Jillian DeCoursey vs. Linda Mihalec, Lindsey VanZandt vs. Katie Perez and Jessica Correa Delboni vs. Tabatha Ann Watkins. Meanwhile, Kara Marie Vislosky meets Samantha Seff in the reserve bout.
