Thanh Le needs to shake off the rust in a hurry.

The Dana White’s Contender Series alum will defend his undisputed featherweight crown against undefeated grappling savant Garry Tonon in the One Championship “Lights Out” headliner on March 11 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Le enters the cage on the heels of four straight knockouts. He last appeared at One Championship “Inside the Matrix,” where he wiped out Martin Nguyen with third-round punches on Oct. 30, 2020—almost 500 days ago. Tonon, meanwhile, carries a perfect 6-0 record. The five-time Eddie Bravo Invitational gold medalist last fought on Dec. 4, 2020, when he laid claim to a unanimous decision over Koyomi Matsushima at One Championship “Big Bang.”
