Anchored at the star-studded American Top Team camp, Moraes has rattled off five wins across his last seven appearances. However, he finds himself on the rebound following a technical knockout loss to Cory Sandhagen at UFC Fight Night 179 on Oct. 10. Font, meanwhile, enters the cage on the strength of back-to-back victories over Sergio Pettis and Ricky Simon. The Mark DellaGrotte protégé has compiled a 7-3 record since he linked arms with the UFC in 2014.
As Moraes and Font approach their high-stakes affair, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

4: Font victories by submission, providing him with 24% of his professional total. His methods of choice: two rear-naked chokes, one guillotine choke and one brabo choke. Font owns seven other wins by knockout or technical knockout.
43: Seconds needed for Font to punch out Thane Stimson at a Reality Fighting event on June 2, 2012. Having occurred in the Team Sityodtong product’s third appearance as a pro, it remains the fastest finish of his 21-fight career.
100: Combined victories between the four men who have beaten Font. Assuncao, Pedro Munhoz, John Lineker and Desmond Green hold a cumulative winning percentage of .769.
5: Knockdowns landed by Font as a UFC bantamweight, tying him with Munhoz and Urijah Faber for fifth-most on the promotion’s active list at 135 pounds. They trail Dillashaw (nine), Cody Garbrandt (nine), Eddie Wineland (eight) and Petr Yan (eight).
