Kevin Holland (17-5) vs. Joaquin Buckley (10-2)ODDS: N/A
Holland is seemingly ready to fight every week, so it is no surprise that after his fight with Trevin Giles fell through on Aug. 1, he is already back to face whoever the UFC puts in front of him. In this case, that is a Bellator MMA and Legacy Fighting Alliance vet in Buckley—a St. Louis native who also has a quick turnaround, as he will be making his UFC debut just eight days after his last win. There is a chance that Buckley could cause some damage here; while there is no real well-defined approach to what Buckley does, he packs a ton of power thanks to his bricked-up frame. However, Holland is much more aggressive and unpredictable, and he should be able to find something effective sooner rather than later, particularly if he decides to take things to the mat. The pick is Holland via second-round submission.
