CASE FOR: Britain’s best fighter, Bisping remained a top middleweight contender and Ultimate Fighting Championship star for years on end. His colorful, trash-talking style brought entertainment to the sport and made his fights consistently among the most anticipated on any card. He was also instrumental in spreading the popularity of MMA into Europe. CASE AGAINST: Despite a quest that lasted for a great many years, Bisping still has not received the title shot that would represent a career-defining moment. Setbacks against Dan Henderson, Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen at inopportune times prevented him from reaching the stature that was always hoped for him. VERDICT: Should he go in? No.
