Double knockouts have been viewed by millions upon millions of fight fans the world over, but the eight-second battle between newcomers Bryan and Parker is arguably the most famous one of its kind. Their Legends of Fighting 25 bout is significant because it provided clean video that went viral.

Aside from the fact that the two brawlers knocked each other cold in the amount of time it takes someone to remove a pan of lasagna from the oven, the referee’s action was priceless. Shonie Carter was the third man in the ring at the 8 Seconds Saloon, and when the two fighters fell to the canvas as stiff as statues, “Mr. International” had no clue about what to do. Uncertain of the protocol he was supposed to follow, he darted side-to-side to each fighter with a horrified and confused look on his face and raised his arms to signal the end. The fight was ruled a no-contest.
