Dodson fled Demetrious Johnson’s tyrannical reign at 125 pounds in 2016 and returned to the bantamweight division, where he has compiled a 2-2 record in four appearances since. Chuck E. Cheese’s most famous former employee last fought at UFC Fight Night 120 on Nov. 11, when he saw his momentum stalled in a split decision loss to onetime World Series of Fighting champion Marlon Moraes. Dodson has put together a strong resume during his 13-plus years in the sport, including victories over T.J. Dillashaw, Jussier da Silva, Tim Elliott, Zach Makovsky, Eddie Wineland and John Moraga (twice). A former Resurrection Fighting Alliance titleholder who has thrown out his anchor at American Top Team, Munhoz enters the match on a four-fight winning streak. The 31-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt has not competed since he submitted Rob Font with a first-round guillotine choke at UFC Fight Night 119 in October.
