Since winning Season 13 of “The Ultimate Fighter” in 2011, Ferguson has emerged as one of the sport’s premier lightweights. The 32-year-old Oxnard, California, native has racked up a 12-1 record against Ultimate Fighting Championship competition, a unanimous decision defeat to Michael Johnson his lone misstep. Ferguson has responded to the Johnson loss by rattling off nine consecutive victories, a record-setting run that includes wins over Josh Thomson, Edson Barboza and former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.
Ferguson has proven to be a dynamic offensive fighter, pairing submissions of Barboza, Gleison Tibau, Abel Trujillo and Mike Rio with knockouts against Katsunori Kikuno, Aaron Riley and Ramsey Nijem. He has captured eight post-fight performance bonuses in 13 appearances inside the Octagon.
