NR | Austin Hubbard (12-5, 2-3 UFC) vs. NR | Dakota Bush (8-2, 0-0 UFC)Hubbard has quickly settled in as someone upon which the UFC can rely to test prospects. “Thud” is a solid fighter who can do a little bit of everything, and while he is a bit of a slow starter, he does usually find his rhythm and become a tough out by the end of his fights. Most of Hubbard’s UFC opponents have been best as grapplers, and while he was able to survive against Davi Ramos and Mark Madsen on the mat, he surprisingly got tapped by Joe Solecki early in his last fight. Hubbard looks to rebound against a late replacement and UFC newcomer in Bush, who figures to be yet another fighter to have a hot start against him. Bush is all about aggression and pressing the action early in his fights. He is also willing to look for the takedown, so there is the chance that he can end this fight early with a submission. However, as long as Hubbard survives the early going, he should be able to find a groove and take over the fight. The pick is Hubbard via decision.
