Preview: PFL Super Fights - Battle of the Giants ‘Brace for Impact’

Lightweights
Husein Kadimagomaev (11-1) vs. Zafar Mohsen (13-4)

Kadimagomaev has had a stellar start to his career. In 12 fights, he’s only gone the distance once, and he’s shown to carry fight-ending power in both fists (55 % KO rate). Spending most of his career on the European MMA scene, Kadimagomaev hasn’t yet fought a fighter that could bring him a lot of notoriety, but that could change with a win on this loaded card.

Like Kadimagomemaev, Mohsen is another promising lightweight with a host of impressive finishes on his ledger. 11 finishes in 13 fights is no easy feat, and with both fighters looking to shine on the big stage, this could be an exciting banger to break up some of the more notable fights on the main card.

While the lack of star power makes this fight feel more like a prelim fight, the Kadimagomaev vs. Moshen matchup could create fireworks. Both fighters are competent grapplers with solid striking fundamentals. Mohsen carries the advantage in punching power, but Kadimagomaev is the younger, more polished prospect. Look for him to break out on the big stage with an exciting finish within the first two rounds.
