Since his promotional debut against former World Extreme Cagefighting champion Miguel Torres at WSOF 1, Moraes has been on a steady rise to the top of the bantamweight division. Four fights later, the Valor Martial Arts product has the company’s inaugural 135-pound title around his waist.

With an arsenal of vicious kicks and punches at his disposal, Moraes has made a name for himself as one of the most dangerous fighters in the World Series of Fighting. Such striking prowess comes from a core of Thai boxing that eventually led to two muay Thai national championships before he decided to switch fully to MMA.

Nowhere was Moraes’ pinpoint accuracy more on display than in his win against Brandon Hempleman at WSOF 4, destroying the inner thigh of his opponent with cringe-worthy leg kicks. Next up, the Brazilian will make first title defense against Josh Hill at WSOF 13.
