UFC 112 Weigh-ins: Title Fights Set

All fighters made weight Friday for UFC 112, which takes place Saturday at the Ferrari World Concert Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Anderson Silva came in at 185 for his middleweight title defense against Demian Maia (184). The Brazilians headline an 11-bout card that marks the UFC’s first event in the Middle East and its first in an open-air arena.

Lightweight champion B.J. Penn hit 155 for his title defense against Frankie Edgar (154). Penn, Sherdog.com’s No. 1-ranked lightweight, has defended his title three times since winning the vacant gold against Joe Stevenson at UFC 80. Edgar, ranked No. 7, is 6-1 in the Octagon.

Former welterweight champion Matt Hughes weighed 170 for his matchup against Renzo Gracie (171). The fight will be the 43-year-old Gracie’s debut in the UFC.

UFC 112 airs live on pay-per-view Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.
