Las Vegas-based Muay Thai promotion Lion Fight will return to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., next month. Lion Fight 36, which goes down on April 28 on AXS TV, will be anchored by Sergio Wielzen defending his lightweight crown against Lerdsila Chumpaitour.

Wielzen captured the belt last year when he knocked out defending champ Ognjen Topic in the third at Lion Fight 28. He has since defended his title at Lion Fight 30, when he edged Arthur Meyer via split nod. Chumpaitour, meanwhile, at one point had an astonishing 100-fight winning streak during a stretch that saw him capture the Rajadamnern Stadium three times.

Also set for Lion Fight 36 is a cruiserweight matchup between Paul Banasiak and Brett Hlavacek while Eddie Abasolo will take on fellow middleweight P.J. Sweda. Chip Moraza-Pollard and Nick Chasteen are expected to compete on the card as well, though no opponents have been mentioned for either fighter.

Lion Fight 36 will be televised live on AXS TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
