Fight fans can take a deep dive into statistical minutiae with a new feature on the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s website.
According to a release, the recently-launched UFC Record Book will include “expanded fighter career records, individual fight records, combined fight records, and single-round records. The categories themselves can be filtered by weight class, country, active fighters, and all-time fighters.”
While notable records such as “Most UFC Wins” will be easily searchable, users may find the UFC Record Book more interesting for figures related to stats on things such as “Top Position Time” or “Total Clinch Strikes Landed.” While some of the statistics were previously available at UFCStats.com, this version allows for a more detailed look into the facts and figures of the Las Vegas-based promotion.
UFC Record Book will cover all events from the modern era, which began with UFC 28 in November 2000.
