Scottish slugger Joanne Calderwood looked tremendous in winning the first-ever women’s flyweight bout in UFC history. Calderwood nearly decapitated Valerie Letourneau with a spinning back fist in the fist but couldn’t put her away, but the pounding was on from that point forward.
Calderwood tore into her foe from all angles in in the third, she slammed a teep to Letourneau’s belly, forcing her to turn her back and have the fight ended by the ref. The official time of the TKO was 2:51 of the frame at UFC Fight Night “MacDonald vs. Thompson.”
