The UFC Hall of Famer recently shared his views on a number of topics regarding MMA during a sitdown with Joe Buck on “Undeniable.” The interview airs on DirecTV and AT&T U-verse’s Audience Network tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Gracie and Buck discuss the MMA lifestyle, the origins of the Octagon, and the pressure of having one of the most revered last names in combat sports. Gracie also shared some candid thoughts on women competing in MMA (online sportsbooks).
“I’m not a big fan of it. I like the woman feminine. I don’t like to go home and get beat up,” he said with a laugh. “But hey, it’s a free country. They can do whatever they want.”
The 50-year-old Gracie returned to active competition for the first time in nearly nine years at Bellator 149 in February 2016, when he defeated longtime rival Ken Shamrock via technical knockout 2:22 into the first round of their third bout.
