Thiago Silva is no longer a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship roster.
Silva was arrested on Feb. 6 after allegedly threatening people with a gun at the Pablo Popovitch Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., according to a report from the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel. The native Brazilian began his UFC career in 2007 on the strength of nine consecutive victories. Silva would then post four more wins inside the Octagon but struggled to stay healthy, posting a record of 1-3 with two no-contests brought on by failed drug tests. Nevertheless, Silva earned back-to-back victories in 2013, knocking out Rafael Cavalcante in June before outpointing Matt Hamill four months later.
