On Nov. 6, 2015, Bellator MMA was at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, for Bellator 145.
In the main event, Patricio Freire was looking to defend his featherweight title against Daniel Straus. The bout served as the third meeting between the two. Straus, having lost to Freire in both of their previous fights, here managed to take a unanimous decision victory over Freire and thereby take the featherweight championship. In the co-main event, Will Brooks successfully defended his lightweight title against Marcin Held.
Also on the main card was Michael Chandler, who beat David Rickels by TKO; Bobby Lashley, who TKO’d James Thompson, and opening up the main card was Emmanuel Sanchez, who took a close split decision victory over Justin Lawrence.
On the prelims, Augusto Sakai beat Alex Huddleston by decision.
Bellator 145 had 5,259 people in attendance for a gate of $361,458.
