‘TUF 13’ Episode 9 Nets 1 Million Viewers

The ninth episode of “The Ultimate Fighter 13” posted 1 million viewers for its hour-long telecast on Spike TV.

The episode's total average viewership this week represented a drop off from episode eight, which netted 1.2 million viewers. The season high was set in the premiere, which earned 1.5 million viewers.

This week's episode also earned a household rating of 0.9 and posted ratings of 1.0 and 0.9 in the M18-49 and M18-34 demographics, respectively.

Episode nine of “TUF” featured two quarterfinal contests, as Chuck O'Neil conquered Zach Davis in their rematch, picking his foe apart in the stand-up en route to a unanimous nod. Team Dos Santos would suffer another defeat in the second quarterfinal bout, as Tony Ferguson made quick work of Ryan McGillivray, staggering him with an uppercut before finishing the job with ground-and-pound.

The semifinals are now set for “TUF 13” as O'Neil and Ferguson join fellow qualifiers Chris Cope and Ramsey Nijem in the round of four.
