TJ De Santis and Sam Genovese returned to the Sherdog Radio Network Saturday night following the UFC on Fuel TV 8 card for another edition of “Beatdown After The Bell.” De Santis and Genovese recap all of the action from Saitama, including the devastating knockout victory for Wanderlei Silva over Brian Stann.
Coming in to the UFC on Fuel TV card, former Pride middleweight champion Silva hadn’t fought in Japan since 2006. The Brazilian fighter was able to compete in front of the fans that watched him devastate opponents in the Pride ring in what for all intents and purposes was a homecoming. In that return “The Axe Murderer” was able to remind the Japanese fans firsthand on what made him legendary in mixed martial arts. TJ De Santis and Sam Genovese breakdown the UFC’s return to the Land of the Rising Sun and Silva’s knockout effort in the main event.
