Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen is joined by BloodyElbow.com founding editor Nate Wilcox.

Conor McGregor might have knocked out Chad Mendes to win the UFC interim featherweight championship at UFC 189, but he is staying busy, coaching alongside Urijah Faber as part of “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 22. Breen and Wilcox discuss McGregor's title win, his decision to star in TUF 22 after such an intensive, months-long build up to his title win, when we will see “The Notorious” one back in the cage and whether or not it will be against Jose Aldo.

Breen and Wilcox also why “overexposing” McGregor might actually be the best thing for him or any would-be MMA superstar, how the infrequency of fighters competing makes building star athletes so difficult in combat sports and whether or not McGregor would be as favored and hyped by the UFC if he wasn't a white male from Ireland.

Grab your credential and get a seat in “Press Row.”
