M-1 Global announced on Thursday another bout for its upcoming M-1 Challenge 75 card. Welterweight prospect Sergey Romanov will take on veteran Magomed Sultanakhmedov in one of the featured bouts on the card, which goes down March 3 in Moscow.
Romanov, conversely, has been on a tear, having won his last eight, all within the past two years. The St. Petersburg resident is already 3-0 for M-1, with two wins coming via knockout. He last competed in October at M-1 Challenge 71 where he edged Carlos Alexandre Pereira via decision.
A pair of undefeated welterweights will headline M-1 Challenge 75 on March 5 as Alexey Kunchenko will collide with Shavkat Rakhmonov. Kunchenko’s 170-pound championship will be on the line against Rakhmonov, who has been tearing up the division since turning pro a few years ago.
M-1 Challenge 75 will be streamed live on M1Global.tv. Several more bouts will be announced in the coming weeks.
