Chris Lytle (Pictured), on “Beatdown,” explaining that he never really considered quitting his job as a firefighter and leaving his family to train regularly at an elite camp:
“Is it a little frustrating in my head that I’ll never really know how good I could have been? Yeah, but I would rather have that little thing than [thinking] what if things didn’t work out and my family’s not nearly as good off as they could be now because of me being selfish. That’s just something that never really was a real question in my mind. That wasn’t going to happen.”
