Kickboxing promoter Glory on Tuesday announced that fan favorite Joe Schilling will headline the Glory 30 “SuperFight Series” undercard against Jason Wilnis.
Schilling (21-6, 12 KOs) will look to finally settle the score against his Dutch rival. Schilling first clashed with Wilnis (27-6-1, 7 KOs) at Glory 24, where Schilling won via technical knockout after a foot injury rendered Wilnis incapable of continuing.
Co-headlining the undercard will be a heavyweight scrum between Chi Lewis-Parry (6-1, 2 KOs) and UFC veteran Carlos Augusto Inocente Filho (29-7, 16 KOs).
The Glory 30 “SuperFight Series” card will kick off with the promotional debut of muay Thai star Tiffany Van Soest (12-2-1, 5 KOs), though her opponent has yet to be announced. Her original opponent, Jeri Sitzes, was forced to withdraw from the event.
Rounding out the undercard will be a middleweight bout between Mike Lemaire (17-8, 7 KOs) and Karl Roberson, while Manny Mancha (2-1, 2 KOs) will take on Warren Thompson (10-4-1, 2 KOs) at light heavyweight.
Glory 30’s main card, to be streamed live on ESPN3, is slated to be headlined by newly-crowned middleweight champion Simon Marcus (43-2-2, 24 KOs) defending his title against UFC veteran Dustin Jacoby (9-6, 7 KOs).
Also penciled in for the event will be a four-man one-night Welterweight Contenders Tournament. Francois Ambang will take on Daniel Morales in the first bout of the bracket while Casey Greene will square off opposite Richard Abraham in the other. The two winners will lock horns in the tournament finale.
