Glory, the world’s premier kickboxing promotion, will return to the Mecca of the sport on Saturday. Glory 31: Amsterdam goes down from inside the RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands, with Robin Van Roosmalen defending his lightweight champion against muay Thai superstar Sittichai Sitsongpeenong in the main event.
At the scales, Sitsongpeenong, who lost a highly controversial decision to the reigning champion last year at Glory 25, tipped the scale at 153.2 pounds, looking as ready as ever for his coveted rematch. Van Roosmalen, meanwhile, officially clocked in at 152.1 pounds and expects to go 2-0 against the former Lumpinee Stadium champion.
Yoann Kongolo will take on Harut Grigorian in the first welterweight semifinal bout while Murthel Groenhart will oppose Karim Benmansour in the other. All four men came in on point as well, clearing the way for what could be a grueling night.
Mwekassa also checked in perfectly; he weighed in at 206.4 pounds. Bouzidi was equally on the money as he came in at 207.9 pounds.
Glory 31’s SuperFight Series will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass starting at 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. PT. The main card will then be streamed live on ESPN3 starting at 4 p.m./1 p.m. PT.
